Executive Assistant

Excellent opportunity to work a flexible schedule from home on a part-time basis. Executive assistant needed to help coordinate the launch of a new education platform for first responders and clinicians.

Qualifications:

  • - 5 or more years’ experience as a marketing, education or executive assistant
  • - Creative self-starter who is able to work independently
  • - Strong work ethic and business acumen
  • - Experience with coordination of several social media platforms
  • - Graphic design skills
  • - Event coordination experience a plus
  • - Excellent oral and written communication skills

Primary duties of the position:

  • - Learning Management System (LMS) lead administrator and creative designer
  • - Education Coordinator: working with multiple (SME) Subject Matter Experts to develop courses for the LMS and guide them in using the LMS platform
  • - Utilize graphic design skills in Canva software
  • - Serve as the executive assistant to the clinical program director while helping to coordinate several social media channels the platform uses to communicate with the students, faculty and the public
  • - Coordinate online and in person events
  • - Willingness to take ownership of duties while contributing creative ideas for project coordination
  • - Maintain accurate logs of workflow and project timelines
  • - Strict adherence to project deadlines
  • - The ability to successfully articulate the vision, mission, and goals of The First Responder Behavioral Health Institute to the students, faculty and community is an essential part of the position. Public relations and public information officer duties are an important component of the position.
  • - Willingness to assume other duties as assigned

You will be the main point of contact between faculty, students and the public. Communications will be via phone, email and Zoom meetings. Therefore, a professional demeanor is required. While there is flexibility in work hours and you can work from home, you must have your own computer and phone as well as a professional, quiet space available when needed to participate in conference calls and Zoom meetings.

This is a contract (1099) position, and you will be paid weekly. Pay rate is commensurate with experience. You will be required to complete a weekly detailed log of your time on each project that will be audited regularly.

This position will start out as part time between 10 to 20 hours a week and will grow into a full-time position for the candidate who has a proven track record of excellence. Bonuses may be awarded for exceeding expectations, meeting goals and objectives and consistently achieving excellence.
